Treatment methods:
Control Group: radiotherapy,
Dt70 Gy 35 times in7 weeks
Canelim Group: Canelim Capsules, 4*3 times/day, combined
with above chemotherapy treatment
Discuss:
Table 1--Effectiveness:
The total effective rate in Canleim group (82.35%) is
much higher than that in chemotherapy control group
(p<0.05).
Table 2--Hemogram: The hemogram shows: the main side
effect of radiotherapy, bone marrow inhibition, is partially
relieved by Canelim Capsules.
Table 3--Immunity Changes: The lymphocyt proliferation
rate arises, T3 & T4 keeps stable, while inhibitive
T8 decreases. All of these indicate that Canelim Capsules
can protect the immune function of patients under radiotherapy.
Conclusion:
When combined with radiotherapy, Canelim capsules can
not only kill cancer cells, shrink the the tumor, ameliorate
symptoms, and also protect blood cells and immunity
from radiation injury.
